Jump #001: Pokémon Trainer

PREFACE

All IC commentary will be in standard white text, OOC will be in the obnoxious aqua-looking color. If you're curious as to what the exact specifics, rules, or nature of this stuff is, probably just go Google Jumpchain and look for stuff and you'll probably figure it out. Or don't.
For the run down, jump to a fictional universe, spend points on perks, get strong, do something, I don't know. It's an imagination exercise and I don't see myself dumping all my creative energies into this, so the quality of posts will likely not surpass this initial one. But if you're entertained by this, then hey! That's nice.
I will preface this with I have no idea what I'm doing.
But you know, it's a chance to do impossible things and maybe make the world a better or worse place.
Alternatively, I can make bad jokes.
Starting off with the Pokémon Trainer Jump

Age: 16
Location: Hoenn
Oh hey, I actually got kind of lucky here. I mean I'd hate to be 16 again after all I had so much wisdom back then and had to deal with some bad acne, but whatever. EVERYONE LOVES THAT. At least it's better than a super low roll. Because experiencing puberty again would make everything else on this journey pale in comparison because of how fun it would be. On the other hand Hoenn has a lot of water. But I actually do like water, no sarcasm.

And UNIVERSAL Freebies
A bag that's bigger on the inside!
A Pokégear (can be muted)
An already filled Pokédex
5x Pokéballs!
3x Potions!
And the most important thing, a red hat!
... honestly if you know how Pokémon works you already know what I have to say about most of this. The bag is ridiculously useful though. An already filled dex is convenient and that is about it. Now, I'd like to talk about how much I like to suffer

SUFFERING
Silenced +100cp
To be honest nobody really cares about what I have to say.
Marked +200cp
I'd be offended if they didn't have me marked for recruitment or something, I kind of want their attention. Even if it's negative. Saves me time. Team Aqua had the cooler leader. Just saying.
Perks & Items & Background
Background: Drop-In
It's free and I don't care.
Physical Fitness (100cp) (rural)
I get to be a little bit weaker than Captain America? Man, and I thought I'd regret years of sloth.
Psionics (600cp) (city)
Nobody cares about what I have to say because I'm injecting that right into their minds if it's important. Less chance of mishearing it. Probably should also learn some combat skills with this and actually train, instead of letting it sit there. Capping at a Gardevoir is kind of ridiculous to be honest.
Savant (300cp) (drop-in)
I can now continue my journey to truly becoming elephant-kin, graduate high school, and shoot a gun and land on the target. But seriously? Amazing mental math, perfect memory, and spatial awareness on top of being a great shot with a gun...? I'm sold.
Champ in the making (300cp)
Being an expert at training teams and individuals, managing team dynamics, and solving social issues between what this jump is about and humans? Being able to make teamwork work? You have me sold. Their couldn't have ever been a better perk here aside from something stupidly strong and powerful like, I dunno, save states? PFFFFT.
What about Pokémon?
Oh yeah, for my starter I'll go with a Treecko and work from there? I guess I'll post later what happens.
